What is English Breakfast?
Being brought up with a strong British influence, this kinda brew was a staple in the Walker family. From Nan and Pop’s to my mum and dad’s, English Breakfast is the tea of choice when “poppin’ roun’ for a cuppa” on a “Sundee”.
What’s even better, is when you take away those teaspoons of sugar, and gastly cow’s milk, you’ve actually got yourself a cup-full of protective benefits due to the Camellia sinensis plant (tea), playing host to a good dose of anti-oxidants.

What I’ve come to learn and appreciate over the years of tea exploration, is that not all English Breakfasts are not treated the same.
Unlike the stale old meeting room tea bags you settled for at the last conference, Jade Walker English Breakfast uses certified organic OP grade leaf.
OP grade is a type of tea leaf cut that reserves it’s freshness and therefore locks in its benefits. Many of your cheap tea-bag varieties use a finely cut leaf, which in turn leads to faster leaf oxidation, and a reduction in quality.

How do I make the best cup of Jade Walker English Breakfast
For best results: the tea plant is a delicate friend. She only likes short baths in just the right temperature. So a nice 5-10 minute steep in 80-90C water (or just stop the kettle before boiling) will make for the perfect result.
Use 1 tsp for a delicate drink, or 2 tsp if you like it stronger.
Whilst I’m a black tea kinda girl, if there’s one you might feel the need to add a dash of milk, English Breakfast is the drop to do so.
What is the best time of day to consume?
Due to the tea plant naturally containing caffeine this can give you energy. Morning and midday is best. However, some people find they’re fine with caffeine even before bed.
